The doctoral project "Real-time musculoskeletal simulation and evaluation of data from wearable smart-devices to prevent signs of aging", which Lukas Reinker began working on in summer 2021, deals with to what extent age prevention and thus a better quality of life can be achieved by means of wearables. Using a feedback system controlled by artificial intelligence, biomechanical aspects are processed into comprehensible and accessible data for everyday life, providing clues for daily exercises regarding certain motion patterns such as walking, sitting and similar. The study was successfully completed in November 2024, making age prevention more tangible and achieving a better quality of life independent of therapists and physicians.
The BAYWISS Joint Academic Partnership Health would like to congratulate its former member and wishes him all the best for the future.
