Quality in digitally-supported teaching

In the “Digitalisation and Teaching” Working Group, Vice-Presidents for Teaching and for Digitalisation or CIOs from Bavarian universities and universities of applied sciences (HAWs) are developing recommendations and concepts across all types of university for strong digitally-supported teaching and infrastructure at Bavarian universities so as to

  • create stable digital infrastructures (organisation and technology)

  • develop a university- and research-friendly legal framework (teaching and capacity legislation, copyright; data protection and data security)

  • develop and attract personnel to the IT sector as well as

  • on other future- and cross-cutting issues in the context of digital teaching.

The AG understands “digital teaching” as follows:

teaching that is organised, managed and carried out with the use of digital media, IT, software applications and the internet etc. This includes

  • teaching and learning scenarios such as classroom teaching with digital elements
  • Blended learning
  • Online courses
  • Digital exams (online or offline)
