Profile

The TH Aschaffenburg University of Applied Science was founded in the year 1995 and is characterised by a focus on industry, predominantly interdisciplinary and innovative degree courses. In the study fields of business and law as well as engineering, the university currently offers 16 Bachelor’s and seven consecutive Master’s degree programmes.

It is the only university in Bavaria to provide degree courses in International Real Estate Management and International Technical Sales Management. The TH Aschaffenburg is also the only university throughout Germany that is launching the newly developed degree course Digital Real Estate Management in the winter semester 2020/2021. The university relies on cooperation with companies in the region to exchange in the field of application-oriented research and development, it also maintains partnerships with foreign universities. A language centre, a centre for natural sciences, various laboratories, and a career service round of the university’s portfolio. It has its headquarters in the Jäger barracks built in 1896, which has been modernised and extended many times since then.

The Technical University in Aschaffenburg boasts some listed architecture alongside an ensemble of functional modular buildings – creating an attractive learning and living space for students.

Akademische Weiterbildung bildet neben Lehre und anwendungsorientierter Forschung die dritte Säule im Leistungsangebot der Technischen Hochschule Aschaffenburg. Unser Angebot soll Menschen und Unternehmen in die Lage versetzen, auf den gesellschaftlichen und wirtschaftlichen Strukturwandel nicht nur problemlösend zu reagieren, sondern auch Potenziale zur aktiven Gestaltung des Wandels zu entwickeln.

  • Angebote des Career Service der Hochschule reagieren auf den fakultätsübergreifenden und interdisziplinären Bedarf an berufsorientierter Aus- und Weiterbildung.
  • Die Teilnahme an den weiterbildenden, berufsbegleitenden Bachelorstudiengängen in Elektro- und Informationstechnik sowie Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen eröffnen neue Möglichkeiten beruflicher Entwicklung.
  • In den Bereichen der technologie- und forschungsbezogenen Weiterbildung bieten wir über das ZeWis insbesondere ingenieurs- und techniklastige Weiterbildungsangebote auf Bestellung an.
